NRF PROTECT 2024 Officially Begins in Long Beach

NRF PROTECT 2024 officially kicked off yesterday, June 4, as attendees gathered in Long Beach, California for two different networking events hosted by the National Retail Federation (NRF).

For those ready to get the party started early, there was a Grill and Chill event poolside at the Hyatt Regency in the afternoon with burgers, brats, and beer for people to enjoy.

Later, attendees went to the Long Beach Convention Center for the Carnival at the Cove Opening Party. Here, everyone could network with the more than 1,000 retail professionals in town for the show while enjoying small bites and drinks. There were even opportunities to engage in friendly competition and win prizes while playing games like PLINKO, paintball target shooting, beer pong, and more.

After the official NRF PROTECT networking events ended, attendees were in the perfect location in downtown Long Beach to find great restaurants and bars, with many companies hosting their own after parties.

The conference continues today with the opening of the expo hall and a variety of keynotes and educational sessions covering the hottest topics in loss prevention. Follow LPM on LinkedIn for live coverage of the event, and check our site again tomorrow for the inside scoop on the conference. And if you’re in Long Beach, come to our Booth #845 and say hi!
