CLEAR Conference 2017 Still On Track for October

Amid concerns about damage resulting from Hurricane Harvey, Curt Crum, president of the Coalition of Law Enforcement and Retail Conference (CLEAR), has confirmed that the organization’s eighth annual training conference will still take place October 16–19 in San Antonio, TX. “We are happy to report that all is well and they are good to go,” he said.

The event, which will take place at the Menger Hotel in downtown San Antonio, aims to provide high-quality, affordable training on the latest trends in organized retail crime (ORC) to law enforcement and retail loss prevention professionals.

Proposed educational agenda topics include:

  • Prosecuting ORC Cases
  • Social Media and Dark Web Investigations
  • Gift Card Fraud
  • Civil Unrest/Business Continuity
  • Houston ORC Gangs

In addition, the event will feature a daily vendor exhibition, an awards presentation, an ORC trends panel, and much more. Substantial networking opportunities have also been built into the agenda to encourage conversation and cooperation among law enforcement and LP attendees.
