VIDEO: Shoplifting Suspects Fleeing Police Cause Rollover Crash

The crash happened about 2:30 PM Sunday on I-43 south at Silver Spring Road in Glendale (Wisconsin). Investigators said a 36-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man, both from Milwaukee, stole about $1,100 worth of goods from the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Grafton.

A Bayside officer spotted the suspects’ car on I-43 and attempted to initiate a traffic stop, police said. The officer said that’s when the suspects fled at speeds of up to 100 mph. The driver used the shoulder to pass other cars, investigators said.

The suspect then lost control and crashed into a retaining wall and another car at Silver Spring Road, officers said. The impact caused the car the victims were in to rollover… WISN12 News
