Video: Shoplifting Suspects Dragged Employee with Car

Clearwater, Florida, police are searching for a pair of shoplifting suspects who dragged a Dollar General employee with their car, officials said.

Surveillance video was released by the Clearwater Police Department, showing the two unidentified women walking into the store. After the women walked out with unpaid items, the store employee confronted them in the parking lot. That’s where police said the driver placed the car in reverse, trapping the employee between the door and car frame.

The suspects face potential strong armed robbery and aggravated battery charges. One of the women had rainbow-colored hair and left in a black Nissan Altima with a temporary tag, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Clearwater Police Department at 727.562.4242… Fox13 News
