USS Adds Retail Loss Prevention Veteran to Sales Ranks

USS recently announced the addition of retail loss prevention industry veteran, Jill Evans-Aldhizer, in a national sales representative role.

Prior to her full-time position and onboarding at USS, Evans-Aldhizer worked with the team, serving as a business consultant to USS’ Chief Operating Officer Claude Verville.

According to Evans-Aldhizer, it was during this time and exposure to the organization, that she realized its goals and potential aligned with her own.

“After working with this team, I have a great deal of respect for the owner, and the entire executive staff who I have found to be extremely bright, innovative, committed and high quality individuals,” she said. “This team is exceptional in creating new security solutions for their customers.”

Evans-Aldhizer is well equipped to bring value to USS’ efforts, with more than 20 years of Fortune 50 retail executive experience under her belt, seven of which saw her serve in a director of loss prevention operations capacity. During this portion of her career, she was responsible for maintaining an upwards of $90 million budget, which included overseeing key vendor accounts such as fire and burglary alarm systems installs, monitoring and maintenance, CCTV and DVR system installs, EAS system installs and maintenance, as well as a selection of items such as product security devices, locks and keying products.

Evan-Aldhizer described how career experiences and insights will make a valuable impact on USS’ approach to retail security solutions, services and offerings.

“I have insider, first-hand knowledge of what retail executives look for and need to have to get upper management’s buy in and support for adding or maintaining security product devices and other security type systems,” she said.

“This national sales representative position gives me an opportunity to use my past retail experience and knowledge to help assist this team in bringing their unique and quality product solutions to other retailers and add savings back to their bottom line,” said Evans-Aldhizer. “I understand the importance of developing customer relationships built on integrity and trust, focus on the financial side of the business (showing the customer how to communicate the ROI of the product), and how to make the roll out, training and through-put process as seamless as possible.”

Verville, with whom Evans-Aldhizer has collaborated with in several roles and capacities, expressed his anticipation for bring her into the fold full-time.
