Three Orange County residents were accused of shoplifting from Macy’s in the Jefferson Valley Mall. Yorktown police said Channon W. Powell, 35, of Newburgh, Maurice D. Williams, 38, of Newburgh an Evelyn Cruz, 32, of Wallkill, were charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.
Police said, around 8:45 PM Monday, a report was received about three people who fled from the store in a car after stealing merchandise.
