Three Arrested after Leaving Discarded Packaging in Store

A trio of suspected pillagers were arrested late Thursday after walking through a Vacaville, California, store and leaving a trail of discarded merchandise packaging along their route, according to a social media post from the Vacaville Police Department.

About 10:30 p.m. dispatch received a call from a loss prevention employee at a local retailer. The employee explained that he had just been notified by a customer of some suspicious shoppers currently perusing the establishment.

The customer noticed the three wanderers were throwing away packaging materials. The loss prevention employee began to keep tabs on them, according to police. They shortly exited the store with stolen goods and drove off in a sedan with its lights off… Daily Republic
