The Loss Prevention Foundation is excited to announce the acquisition of LP Magazine. These two industry leading brands will continue to operate as separate business units while the synergies of these brands will allow us to continue to drive education and communication for our industry and its professionals. Bringing LP Magazine under the not-for-profit status of The Loss Prevention Foundation will further the collective commitment of all we do in education, information, and knowledge sharing, specifically and directly for the good of the LP/AP industry.
“The LPF and LP Magazine have worked closely since the inception of the LPF,” stated Terry Sullivan, LPC, President of The Loss Prevention Foundation. “As the Loss Prevention and Asset Protection industry continues to evolve, we see this as a perfect fit to collaborate and continue to offer world-class educational opportunities for our industry professionals through the LPQualified and LPCertified courses as well as, superior content through our industry’s leading media outlet.”
“It is exciting to see The Loss Prevention Foundation come together with LP Magazine to be an organization with both an educational arm and a communications arm for our industry and profession. As these organizations come together, I know we will see tremendous success from combining the knowledge and experience of the two teams,” stated Jim Lee, LPC, LP Magazine executive editor and cofounder.
Jack Trlica, LP Magazine editor-in-chief and cofounder, added, “Putting these two organizations together only cements the fact that LP Magazine is the premier communication vehicle for the LP and AP community and ensures that the brand we’ve built over the past 20 years will endure for years to come. I’m personally excited to see how the combined talents and resources represented by these two organizations enhance and grow the already excellent offerings of the magazine and the Foundation.”
