Suspect Steals from Same Store Three Times in One Night

A Michigan man makes off with several thousand dollars worth of electronics after stealing from the Alpena Walmart not once, but three times.

According to Michigan State Police, 34-year-old Matthew Brown of Atlanta, MI is charged with felony retail fraud. MSP Troopers, Alpena post, were called to the Walmart for a theft complaint on March 22.

Troopers were informed that a single male came into the store at 1:30 a.m. and walked to the electronics department. Through store surveillance, local law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers, the subject was identified at Matthew Brown. There Brown took electronic items and headed for the Garden Center, forced open the closed doors, and took the stolen items to his car, which was in the store parking lot. He left, but came back to the Walmart 20 minutes later… WWMT3 News
