A 38-year-old North Carolina man has been arraigned on felony retail fraud in connection with thefts at the Sandusky Walmart. Sandusky Chief of Police Brett Lester said the shoplifting occurred on three different dates, October 6, October 7, and October 12. Lester said the man, and a second suspect, were caught on the store’s surveillance camera.
Lester said the video footage was posted on the police department’s Facebook page Oct. 13, and by Oct. 15 officers had received tips that the male suspect was staying in an apartment in Croswell. Authorities visited the apartment the same day and placed him under arrest.
