Suspect Admitted to Stealing 3 Diamond Rings from 3 Jewelry Stores in 3 Months

An Indianapolis man is accused of stealing three diamond rings from three jewelry stores in three months in the Milwaukee area, and prosecutors said he admitted to the crimes. The convicted felon was arrested in Milwaukee with a pistol and a diamond ring in his possession, according to prosecutors.

Timothy Dodd, 21, faces the following charges:Possession of a firearm by an outstate felon
Felony retail theft — intentionally taking greater than $10,000 and felony retail theft — intentionally taking greater than $5,000 to $10,000 — two counts. A criminal complaint detailed three crimes in May, June, and July in Glendale and Wauwatosa, and Dodd’s arrest in July in Milwaukee. The thefts total approximately $29,000… Fox6 Now
