Signet Jewelers Limited Announces Key LP Promotions

Signet Jewelers Limited (Signet) is the world’s largest retailer of diamond jewelry and operates approximately 3,600 stores primarily under the name brands of Kay Jewelers, Zales, Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry, H.Samuel, Ernest Jones, Peoples and Piercing Pagoda. As part of Signet’s efforts to transform itself and create an organization that can support future growth, several organizational changes have recently been announced that are designed to better align the company’s functional groups.

Kevin Valentine

Kevin Valentine, CFI, LPC has been promoted to Signet Senior Vice President of Internal Audit, Loss Prevention and Enterprise Risk Management. Valentine has held a loss prevention leadership role since joining the company in 1986. However, along the way he has assumed many additional responsibilities as he has continued to grow within the organization which has culminated in his most recent promotion. Kevin remains a premier industry leader, having served as a Board Member for the Loss Prevention Foundation, an Advisory Board Member for the Center for Interviewer Standards & Assessment Ltd., and a Board of Advisors Member for the Loss Prevention Research Council as well as other industry leadership positions during the course of his career.

Tom Kimble

Tom Kimble has been promoted to Senior Director, Signet Internal Audit, and will be responsible for all North America Corporate Audit and Store Operational Audit. Tom has held positions with increasing responsibility since joining the company in 1990 and served as Senior Corporate Auditor and Director of Internal Audit prior to his most recent promotion. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Akron.

 

Mark Neopolitan

Mark Neapolitan, CFI, LPC has been promoted to Senior Director, Signet Loss Prevention, and will be responsible for all North America Store Field Loss Prevention. Mark joined the company in 1988, assuming additional responsibilities to include his role as Director of Loss Prevention prior to his most recent promotion. Mark has served on several industry committees to include roles with the Loss Prevention Foundation and the Loss Prevention Research Council. He also serves as Director of Training-Retail for the Coalition of Law Enforcement & Retail (C.L.E.A.R.) He holds a Bachelor of Science in Police Science & Corrections from York College of Pennsylvania.

Chris Hackler1Chris Hackler has been promoted to Senior Director, Signet Physical Security, and will be responsible for all North America Store and Corporate Facilities Physical Security. Chris joined the company as part of the Zale Corporation in 1980, where she served as Senior Director of Store Asset Protection and Senior Director of Loss Prevention prior to the 2014 merger and her most recent promotion. Chris has served on several industry committees to include roles on the National Retail Federation’s Loss Prevention Council and the NRMA Advisory Board. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix with minors in Accounting and Psychology.

Scott Robison has been promoted to Senior Director, Signet ERM & SOX, and will be responsible for all North America and International Enterprise Risk Management and Sarbanes Oxley Compliance. Scott began his career with the company as Corporate Audit Manager in 2006 and was quickly promoted to Director of ERM & SOX prior to his most recent promotion. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Scott also holds several industry certifications, to include CIA, CISA, CRP, CBA, and CFE certifications.
