Shots Fired at Store Employee after Theft, 6 Juveniles Charged

A total of six juveniles face criminal charges in connection with a theft from a local discount store in north Shreveport, Louisiana, early Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

Officers were called to the Family Dollar store in the 2600 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. just after 1 p.m. Wednesday for a report of shots fired. Once on the scene, they were told that a store employee had been shot at after a group of teens inside the store began to steal items from the business.

Once spotted, the teens reportedly ran out of the store with an employee giving chase. It was at that point that one of the juveniles allegedly fired a gun in the direction of the employee… ArkLaTex.Com
