A New Hampshire woman is facing several charges after police said she led them on a chase through several towns and crashed into another vehicle. Police said the chase started with a shoplifting case at a cosmetics store in Epping. Employees stopped a woman suspected of shoplifting, but she said she was pregnant and ran to a car, police said.
When our officers arrived there. the employees of Ulta (Beauty) were pointing out a female getting into a vehicle fleeing from the scene, saying that was the suspect of a theft,” Capt. Jason Newman said. Police say the chase started south on Route 125 with the suspect driving at high speeds all over the highway.
“Our officer attempted to stop the vehicle,” Newman said. “The woman refused to stop for the officer with lights and siren on. She went southbound on Route 125. She was driving very recklessly, speeding, passing other vehicles on the right and left.” Police stopped pursuing the vehicle near the Brentwood-Kingston town line, saying it was too dangerous… WMUR9 News
