A Fitchburg, Wisconsin, woman and three teenagers were arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle that turned up early Monday morning at a Monona Walmart. The Monona Police Department said officers responded at about 1:30 AM at the Walmart at Royal Avenue for a report of a retail theft in progress involving four people.
The Walmart loss prevention agent suspected the group arrived in a stolen vehicle, which was parked in the underground parking lot, according to the report. Loss prevention team members directed officers to an unoccupied 2008 Lexus, which was verified to have been stolen from Madison on an earlier date, police said.
Police blocked the vehicle in and requested help from other departments, the report said. As officers set up a perimeter of the area, the four suspects came down the escalator toward the garage. Once the suspects saw the uniformed officers, they took off running. All four… Fox47 News
