Security Guards Shoot; Kill Teen

Security guards shot to death a 17-year-old boy after he opened fire on another person during a domestic dispute early Saturday at a northwest Fort Worth fashion accessories store, authorities said.

Julian Perez died at John Peter Smith Hospital at 1:15 PM, about eight hours after the shootings in the 3100 block of North Main Street, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The victim who police said Perez shot is female. Police did not release her age or describe her precise relationship with Perez. She was shot in the upper torso and was in critical condition.

The shootings occurred about 5 AM at the store, Gold Rush.
