Securitas AB has promoted Tony Byerly to president of global electronic security, and Kevin Engelhardt as president of Securitas Electronic Security Inc.
In Byerly’s expanded role, he will lead the global strategy solidifying electronic security specialization as he works with other Securitas leaders across the globe. His 30-plus years of leadership and experience in the electronic security industry are backed by a long track record of success transforming businesses and profitability. In 2014, Byerly was inducted into the SSI security industry hall of fame. Byerly reports to Magnus Ahlqvist, Securitas AB president and CEO, and was named a member of Securitas Group Management in 2019.
Engelhardt will now oversee the day-to-day leadership of SES throughout North America. In addition, as the electronic security business leader for North America, he will support global electronic security growth strategies and clients across the US, Canada, and Mexico. Engelhardt formerly served as chief operating officer for SES North America, and before that, as senior vice president of field operations for Diebold Security. Engelhardt will continue reporting to Byerly.
