Organized retail crime and the role of online marketplaces was the subject of a recent interview on Fox News with Lisa LaBruno, senior executive vice president of retail operations and innovation for the Retail Industry Leaders Association.
“The most favored online marketplaces on which these career criminals are selling their product include Amazon, eBay, Facebook, and many others,” LaBruno said. “They need to be held accountable for their role in this significant problem.”
“We can’t arrest and prosecute ourselves out of this problem. The retailers are carrying their weight. They’re doing their level best to address this problem.
