Members of the retail asset protection community will gather in Dallas, Texas, from April 17-20 to participate in the 2016 RILA Asset Protection Conference at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center. The event draws high-level executives and decision makers from across the industry for networking and education opportunities.
The Exhibit Hall
The comprehensive exhibit hall at the RILA Asset Protection Conference will offer dedicated exhibit hours with no conflicting events on Monday and Tuesday evenings, as well as a preview on Monday afternoon. Evening exhibit hours will feature a reception to allow attendees to enjoy a cocktail while exploring the latest technologies and cutting-edge solutions with their peers. Exhibitors will promote products and services from areas such as EAS equipment, alarm systems, cybersecurity, risk management, surveillance and much more. The event is expected to bring in more than 1,300 industry professionals.
Conference sessions will cover a variety of topics that are highly relevant to today’s loss prevention and asset protection professionals, including leadership and development, workplace safety, crimes against business, business intelligence and analytics, operational loss, technology and innovation, and more. The opening keynote, “Perspectives from the C-Suite,” will kick off the general sessions on Monday morning and will be given by DICK’S Sporting Goods’ Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer André Hawaux. The conference sessions will close on Wednesday afternoon with a bonus workshop led by Dr. David Matsumoto, director of Humintell, on ways to evaluate truthfulness by recognizing micro-expressions of emotion.
During the conference, RILA’s inaugural Retail Asset Protection Innovation Awards event will showcase the most innovative and exciting new technologies in the world of asset protection. Final judging and winner announcements will take place at the conference as well. Attendees can download the mobile app for iPhone or Android to access the attendee list, social media links, exhibit hall floor map, and more while they are on the go.
