‘Prolific’ Thief Used Stolen Credit Cards for $11K Mall Shopping Spree.

A Chilean woman extradited from Massachusetts for using stolen credit cards to speed charge $11,400 worth of luxury goods at the SoNo Collection mall in Norwalk one year ago, is wanted by nine other law enforcement agencies all over the country for similar thefts, according to her four-page arrest warrant.

Constanza Maria Baltra-Moreno, 27, previously of Lawndale, California ,was extradited by New Canaan police and charged with second-degree larceny and first-degree identity theft. At her arraignment at the Stamford courthouse Friday, she was ordered held on a $100,000 court appearance bond by Judge Gary White.

According to her arrest warrant, Baltra-Moreno is wanted in connection with South American Theft Groups operating all over the country and there are currently at least 11 warrants for her arrest, and two from Florida and California calling for her extradition to those states…  New Canaan Advertiser
