The National Retail Federation is hosting the second annual State of Retail and the Consumer virtual event on the post-pandemic consumer and the future of retail on Tuesday, March 15, at 12 p.m. ET.
The event will explore how consumer trends are driving retailers to align their businesses and the products and services being offered to appeal to consumers in a post-pandemic era. In addition to the release of the NRF’s annual retail sales forecast, the NRF will debut new research and polling data about consumers with political and economic influence heading into the 2022 midterm elections.
Speaking will be: NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay, NRF Chief Economist Jack Kleinhenz, Walmart US President and CEO John Furner, SKDK Partner Bill Knapp, Morgan Stanley Chief US Economist Ellen Zentner, and IHS Markit Economist and Co-head of US Economics Joel Prakken.
