Mike Barton was appointed director of loss prevention with City of Industry, California-based HOT TOPIC. Mike made his move after 18 years with Gymboree, where he built the loss prevention department. He is now is reunited with several former Gymboree executives, including the CEO at HOT TOPIC. Mike began his loss prevention career with Macy’s and holds an associate’s degree in psychology from Contra Costa College.
