2:00 PM Eastern – LPM Media, RILA, and Retail Coalition Updates

2:30 PM Eastern – ORC Headwinds: Partnerships Lead to Performance and Success
Organized retail crime remains a prominent topic across the retail landscape presenting every type of challenge from small-scale operations to large-scale product diversion operations that involve millions of dollars in stolen products. With the primary objective of stealing for the purpose of turning retail products into financial gain, the global reach of ORC has only been further underscored during the current pandemic and can impact almost every resource within the retail enterprise. Get insights from Ben Dugan of CVS Health, John Matas with Etsy, and David Williams with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, moderated by Paul Jones, LPC.
3:30 PM Eastern – Partners in Protection: The FBI’s Role in Fighting Major Theft Across the US
Supervisory Special Agent Dan Heath with the Federal Bureau of Investigation will provide an overview of the role the FBI plays in fighting major theft incidents across the nation, how the agency approaches major theft issues including those involving retail crimes, and the role of the FBI in building critical partnerships with law enforcement, retail investigators, and the criminal justice system in the battle against major theft.
4:00 PM Eastern – Social Networking Hour
One of the highlights of our LP Magazine Annual Meetings is the opportunity to get together after an afternoon of business meetings and presentations to visit with our peers, renew friendships, and meet new ones. Even though we are virtual this year, we’re offering attendees the opportunity to network virtually via Zoom meeting with video and audio so you can say “Hello,” wave to each other, or just check out those COVID beards and new hair styles.
