LPF Reveals Details about the 2019 Swing for Certification Golf Tournament

The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) recently announced that its Swing for Certification golf tournament is less than sixty days away, and there are only a few spots left for golfers. The event is set for Monday, June 10, at Coyote Hills Golf Club in Fullerton, CA, preceding the NRF PROTECT conference on June 11-13.

The day will begin with lunch and a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. and will continue with activities and contests all along the course. The tournament will finish up with a food and cocktail reception where prizes and awards will be handed out. During the reception, there will be a 50/50 raffle with a helicopter dropping golf balls to determine the winner.

All proceeds of the event will benefit the Bob MacLea Scholarships for LPQ or LPC certification and the Loss Prevention Benevolent Fund.

“Last year’s tournament was a huge success and lots of fun, and we have made this year’s event even bigger and better,” said Terry Sullivan, president of the LPF. “Thanks to all of our sponsors, we have contests planned and awesome prizes to be won, and everyone who participates is eligible to win. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our sponsors. We are really looking forward to a great day out on the course to support a great cause and spend some time with colleagues and friends.”

Contests include:

  • Hole-in-One (two chances to win $10,000)
  • Closest to the Pin
  • Longest Drive
  • Beat the Pro
  • Golf Cannon
  • 50/50 Raffle (All participants to receive a ticket. Must be present to win)
