Johnson Controls Launches New E-commerce Site

Johnson Controls has recently announced the launch of its new e-commerce site – shop.sensormatic.com – designed to provide small and mid-size US retailers with a fast, convenient and secure way to purchase genuine Sensormatic brand anti-theft hard tags and labels. Retailers now have easy access to acousto-magnetic (AM) tags and labels, along with a selection of radio frequency (RF) tags and labels designed to help protect their most vulnerable merchandise, including apparel, accessories, footwear, sporting goods, wine and spirits, power tools, and more. Sensormatic AM tags and labels are designed to work with Sensormatic electronic article surveillance (EAS) systems, while Sensormatic RF tags and labels work with RF systems from other providers. This means retailers in all sectors are likely to find tags that work with their systems, even if those systems are not Sensormatic.

The selection on shop.sensormatic.com was created for retailers that order smaller quantities of tags or labels, and wish to pay by credit card, making it quick and easy to get what they want, when they want it. Larger retailers that order large quantities of tags on contract will continue to order directly from their Johnson Controls sales representative or channel partner.

Last year, Johnson Controls began selling Sensormatic tags and labels on Amazon and found that many small retail organizations, as well as franchisees, were ordering frequently since the tags and labels were new, authentic Sensormatic brand, and available direct from the manufacturer. The website features detailed information on each type of tags and labels, including types of detachers and deactivators.
