Vinny Scalese has been promoted to senior vice president of store operations at JCPenney. Scalese was most recently regional vice president for the northeast region prior to his most recent promotion. He began his career in 1992, holding various loss prevention roles with The Home Depot to include regional loss prevention manager, senior regional loss prevention manager, director of loss prevention, and senior director of loss prevention before moving into store operations where he held positions with increasing responsibility. In 2013 Scalese became chief operating officer with Bell Nursery, which provides the plants available at The Home Depot. He then joined JCPenney in 2016 as regional vice president.
