Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody’s efforts to crack down on organized retail theft were the subject of an article from The Center Square last week. The story details recent multi-agency criminal investigations that ultimately uncovered million of dollars in stolen goods and murdered suspects.
“In Florida, we are fighting back against organized retail theft,” Moody said in the article. “We will not allow this crime, occurring rampantly in other parts of our country, to wreak havoc on our consumers and businesses.”
Moody, alongside Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul, will be delivering the keynote address at the LPM and LPF 2023 Annual Fall Meeting in Sanibel, Florida November 7-9.
