Certification Scholarship Applications Are Now Being Accepted

The Loss Prevention Foundation’s 2nd annual Swing for Certification golf tournament will be held Monday, June 10, at Coyote Hills Golf Club in Fullerton, CA. The sold-out tournament with 116 participants and 20 volunteers is held to raise funds for the Loss Prevention Benevolent Fund (LPBF) and for the Bob MacLea LPQ and LPC scholarships to benefit LP professionals wanting to advance their careers.

The foundation is accepting applications for the MacLea Scholarships now through September 1, 2019. The online application requires a one to two paragraph essay on how the recipient plans to use the knowledge they obtain from the course to further their career and personal development.

“Swing for Certification would not be possible without our amazing sponsors,” said Terry Sullivan, LPC, president of the foundation. “Thanks to their generosity, we will be able to distribute numerous course scholarships and provide funds for the LPBF. We are so appreciative of their ongoing support and dedication to the Loss Prevention Foundation.”
