Mackenzie Kushner, MS, is a research scientist at the Loss Prevention Research Council and doctoral student in the Department of Sociology and Criminology & Law at the University of Florida. Her research focuses on interpersonal violence, as well as developmental and situational crime prevention. She is interested in utilizing this background to initiate and support the development of wholistic, multimodal crime prevention strategies for at-risk individuals.
