The operator of an armored truck on Long Island and two others will spend time in prison after admitting to cooking up a scheme to steal more than $500,000 in Valley Stream.

Alexis Laguerra, 30, of Brooklyn, Raymond “Rambo” Soto, Jr., 30, and Raymond “Razor” Soto, Sr., 48, both of Richmond Hill, pleaded guilty at the federal courthouse in Central Islip last year to their roles in a bank larceny involving the theft of an armored car in November last year.

This week, US Attorney Richard Donoghue announced that Laguerra was sentenced to 30 months, Soto, Sr. to 33 months and Soto, Jr. to 18 months in prison for stealing the cash from an armored car in November 2018.
