Armed Security Guard Arrested for Fatal Shooting in Shopping Complex

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the north valley that occurred Saturday morning.

Officer responded to a shopping complex in the 6400 block of N. Decatur Boulevard, near Tropical Parkway, around 8:00 a.m., according to Lieutenant Clark. They found one person deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

The armed security guard charged with murder has been identified as Brian Love. He is 26, and is expected back in court on Tuesday, July 2. Lieutenant Clark says some conversation occurred between the security guard and the victim before the guard shot the victim multiple times. The security guard then drove away without calling his employer or the police. The victim is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s… News3 Las Vegas
