Alleged Shoplifters Crash SUV after High-Speed Chase

Three shoplifting suspects are at the hospital after crashing an SUV into another vehicle during a high-speed chase in Far Northeast Bexar County in Texas. The incident began about 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Walmart on FM 78 when two females were confronted by the store manager for allegedly shoplifting. The manager was assaulted and the two women fled down Farm-to-Market 78 in a white Buick Enclave.

Converse Police attempted to pull over the vehicle, but it sped off, leading the police on a chase with speeds in excess of 80 mph along FM 78. The SUV had an accident at Firestone Road and FM 78, but kept going before crashing into a small vehicle on Seguin Road and NE Loop 410.

Police said the suspect’s vehicle caught fire and all three were injured during the accident. The male suspect complained of feeling sick after he allegedly swallowed some cocaine… News4SA
