The VHF and UHF digital portables offer extended coverage, so dead zones are minimized and designed with KENWOOD audio for optimum voice quality, especially in high-noise environments. NX-240V16P2/NX-340U16P2 radios can be operated in either analog or digital mode, easing the transition to digital with retailers still using legacy analog radios. With sixteen channels and two watts of power, eighteen hours of talk time on a standard charge, 99 pre-programmed frequencies and wireless cloning, these are full-featured digital portables. Built-in AMBE+2 voice codingmeans background noise is blocked, assuringcrisp, clear voice communications.
