As ORC continues to rise each year, research on the topic becomes more important and more prominent.
For the last eighteen months, ECR Retail Loss has been working on a research project covering eleven countries to explore how retailers continue trading in those stores most at risk regarding violence, abuse, theft, and more.
Criminology and Sociology Professor Emmeline Taylor will launch the report on her findings, plus a benchmarking tool on May 10, at 10 a.m. ET.
A retail expert panel consisting of Albert Heijn, Boots, Sainsburys, and Target will then respond to the findings. The research has been made possible thanks to a grant from Cap Index. Their CEO, Walter Palmer, will also sit on the retailer expert panel to share his thoughts on the findings and implications for retailers.
