Registration is open for the Loss Prevention Foundation’s Learning Day event at the University of Cincinnati to be held March 3, 2020, sponsored by Sensormatic. The conference will coincide with the university’s Criminal Justice Career Expo to give Learning Day attendees an opportunity to meet students interested in loss prevention careers.
The Learning Day detailed agenda will be announced later but will include numerous retail industry executives.
- Michael Lamb, LPC, vice president of asset protection for Kroger, will be the keynote speaker.
- A distinguished panel of women in leadership will participate in a question-and-answer presentation. Panelists include Kathleen Smith, MA, CFI, from Albertsons/Safeway; Kris Vice, LPQ, of Protos Security; Sue Read, LPC, of FleetPride; Cita Doyle, LPQ, from InstaKey; and Tina Sellers, LPC, with Family Dollar.
- Two other top industry executives—Scott Glenn, JD, LPC, from Home Depot and Mark Stinde, MBA, LPC, with JCPenney—are also scheduled to present.
Learning Day presentations are scheduled from 8:30 to 11:00 am and 2:00 to 5:00 pm with a three-hour break to allow attendees to visit with students at the career day activities taking place in the same building.
