Securitas Electronic Security has recently announced that it has donated $7,000 to Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C). The donation was part of a charitable event integrated into the Securitas Electronic Security (SES) tradeshow booth at the 2018 GSX (formerly ASIS) Security Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, NV, in the fall.
For every visitor to the Securitas Electronic Security booth, the company pledged to donate two dollars to Stand Up To Cancer. SU2C is a charitable organization that supports the race to fund groundbreaking, life-saving cancer research. One hundred percent of donations received from the public support Stand Up To Cancer’s collaborative research programs. SU2C breaks down the traditional barriers to collaboration by allowing scientists and researchers across institutions and disciplines to come together and work toward a shared goal: beating cancer.
“Securitas Electronic Security is honored to support Stand Up To Cancer, an organization fighting such a devastating disease that impacts millions of people world-wide” said Tony Byerly, president and CEO, Securitas Electronic Security, Inc. “Whether it’s friends, family, work associates or yourself, it’s difficult to find a person that hasn’t been impacted by cancer. This donation is very meaningful to SES, our associates and the communities we serve.”
