Supply-chain executives from retailers throughout the world will meet in Orlando, FL this month for the 2017 Retail Supply Chain Conference, hosted by the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) from February 12-15.
The conference, which will be held at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center, will offer four days of networking and educational conversations about the toughest challenges facing today’s retail supply chain. More than 35 interactive sessions will be held, with an emphasis on breakout tracks that are highly relevant to industry professionals, such as Creating the Organization and Coexisting Retail Networks.
Greg Sandfort, CEO of Tractor Supply Company, will open the conference on Monday, February 13, as the keynote speaker. Sandfort’s talk, “Perspectives from the C-Suite,” will discuss the critical role of the supply chain in the changing retail environment.
Other noteworthy speakers will include:
- Michael Tchong, founder, ubercool
- John Amaechi, founder and chief executive, Amaechi Performance
- Chris Sultemeir, executive VP of logistics, Walmart Stores, Inc.
- Melissa Greenwell, executive VP and COO, The Finish Line
- Crystal Hanlon, president, northern division, The Home Depot
- Ron Brownstein, senior political analyst, CNN
The exhibit hall at the RILA Retail Supply Chain Conference will feature solution providers from a variety of disciplines, including international logistics, technology, omni-channel solutions, transportation, analytics, and distribution, among others. Attendees will be able to check out the latest industry innovations and network with colleagues during designated exhibit hall hours on Monday, February 13 and Tuesday, February 14.
Additional networking opportunities will include a golf tournament at the Celebration Golf Club and a welcome reception to kick off the event on Sunday, February 12.
