The Loss Prevention Foundation is pleased to announce Sears Holding Corporation has joined the growing list of sponsors for the “Swing for Certification” golf tournament set for Sunday, June 10, at Bear Creek Golf Club in Dallas preceding the National Retail Federation (NRF) PROTECT conference June 11–13, 2018.
The event is open to all retailers and solution providers to benefit the LPF Scholarship Program for LP professionals who want to advance their careers through obtaining their LPQ or LPC certifications. Proceeds will also benefit industry charities, including the Loss Prevention Benevolent Fund and the USS Foundation, the legacy event sponsor.
“We are very excited to have Sears Holding Corporation as our lunch sponsor,” said Terry Sullivan, LPC, president of the LPF. “Sears Holding has supported the LPF for many years and it has meant so much to us, and once again, they are coming forward to help to raise funds for LPQ and LPC scholarships to assist LP and AP professionals continue their education as well as advance their careers.
“The Loss Prevention Foundation is also very appreciative of Vector Security, InstaKey Security Systems, PROTOS Security, LP Magazine, LPM Media Group and LPJobs for being the first sponsors to come on board for the golf tournament. We are welcoming all retailers and solution providers to participate in this networking golf event. It’s sure to be a great day for all.”
The event will begin with lunch at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Prizes and awards will be handed out at a cocktail reception following golf.
