A Pennsylvania mom admitted that she was her son’s getaway driver after he allegedly held up a tobacco shop at gunpoint, state police said. Lori Ann McHenry, 52, of Muncy, was charged last week by state police with conspiracy to commit robbery and theft in a March 18 armed heist at Sam’s Place Lottery & Tobacco in Montoursville, PennLive.com reports.
McHenry allegedly admitting driving her son, Steven James Martin, 28, to and from the shop, which state police investigators said he robbed of $3,570 at gunpoint. Martin wore a camouflage face mask, black goggles and carried a drawstring bag during the alleged robbery, during which no shots were fired and no one was hurt, PennLive.com reported in March.
State police said in an affidavit McHenry has admitted to driving her son to the store, dropping him off and then picking him up after the alleged robbery, the Williamsport Sun-Gazette reports… New York Post
