Eclipse Security recently announced that it is proud partner with Vigilant Solutions, a leader in automated license plate recognition (ALPR) and facial recognition technologies, to introduce the Eclipse Organized Retail Crime (ORC) reduction solution.
Eclipse ORC uses facial recognition to generate leads of potential suspects and license plate recognition to alert retailers of vehicles of interest to their presence on property. The retailers’ loss prevention team can take action to monitor the suspects for illegal activity and have a more proactive response. The solution enables a retailer to collect and share information on known suspects or offenders with their loss prevention teams corporate wide.
