Appriss Retail, the industry leader in retail performance improvement solutions, today announced that Christopher Hoffman has joined the company’s client services department as senior program manager. Hoffman, formerly of The Bon-Ton department stores, will help Appriss Retail’s clients improve productivity and results through artificial intelligence (AI) and loss prevention data analytics solutions. He brings more than 20 years of industry experience in retail loss prevention with a track record of pinpointing and reducing fraud.
“We are glad to have someone of Chris’ experience in this crucial, client-facing role,” said Corey Adams, vice president of client services at Appriss Retail. “Chris has a real-world view of the margin-driven challenges retailers face as well as the ways to use a variety of tools, including Verify® return authorization and EBR solutions to overcome those challenges. He was among the first users of our new artificial intelligence module, giving him deep, unique expertise to help our clients as they navigate AI-oriented approaches.”
“As a long-time Verify and EBR user, I saw for myself how artificial intelligence can improve results and advance loss prevention techniques,” said Hoffman. “I look forward to helping our clients improve their efficiency and performance.”
Hoffman will use his extensive knowledge of employee fraud modeling, exception reporting, LP productivity, and cost containment to the benefit of retailers in North America and abroad.
