Formerly vice president of global marketing for Checkpoint, Carlos Perez, recently joined U.S. Security Associates, a fast-growing $1.5 billion privately held security provider headquartered in Roswell, GA, to head their marketing team. As a member of their commercial leadership team, Perez is in charge of building brand awareness, conversion to technology-enhanced security services, and establishing thought leadership through its vast experience in different industries.
“I’m very excited to join this rapidly growing company and help build a marketing infrastructure to effectively share our value proposition of how we protect people, property, and brands,” said Perez. “In a way, this is the biggest small company in the industry. My mission is to make the marketing department one of its core competencies by developing processes, discipline, and talent to execute marketing strategy and enable sustainable profitable growth.”
Perez is a well-known marketing executive in the retail loss prevention industry with Checkpoint Systems and Alpha Security Products prior to their acquisition by Checkpoint. The native of Costa Rica started his career with Sensormatic in 1992 after graduating from Clemson University.
