W. Barry Nixon, SPHR, is the executive director of the National Institute for Prevention of Workplace Violence, a company focused on assisting organizations to effectively implement programs to prevent workplace violence. He has spent over twenty years in human resources and organizational development for Fortune 500 companies. Nixon is a trained mediator, certified anger management facilitator, security specialist, and trauma response specialist. He is also the workplace violence consultant for the state of California.
