Robert McGrath is director of loss prevention for Staples, Inc. He is responsible for loss prevention and safety in the Staples distribution network. Previously, he served as LP manager of shortage control and regional LP manager in the stores. Prior to joining Staples, McGrath was a private investigator in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts where he began his career as a police officer. He has ten years experience in loss prevention and fifteen years in investigations and law enforcement.
Wayne Jacobson is director of retail loss prevention at Staples Inc. He is responsible for protecting the assets of over 1,100 stores through physical security measures, investigative techniques, and training programs. Previously he was director of investigations and started with the company as a manager of shortage control. Prior to joining Staples, Jacobson held several positions with BJ’s Wholesale Club based in Natick, MA. He has seventeen years experience in the retail industry and eight years in loss prevention.
