Nabeel Azar is the chief operating officer of Verisk Retail, is the COO of Verisk Retail, chair of the Verisk Data Science Excellence Program, and a managing Director of Analytics at Argus, a Verisk Analytics Business. He has over 20 yrs of experience applying technology and quantitative techniques to solving problems in engineering, finance, and analytics. Before joining Verisk, Azar held leadership roles in portfolio optimization and electronic trading at ITG, Lehman Brothers, and Nomura. His earlier career included work at The MathWorks, focusing on numerical analysis, optimization, and distributed computing. Azar received a BS in electrical and biomedical engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
Cheryl Blake is the vice president of business development at Verisk Retail.
