Mike Limauro has been involved in retail Loss Prevention for more than 20 years. He has worked for grocery chains, big box discount retailers, and in upscale department stores such as Neiman Marcus.
Limauro started his career as a Store Detective for Shop Rite and eventually worked his way up to the Director of Asset Protection for Super Kmart where he managed all of the Kmart Super Centers in the United States, and all of the Kmart stores in the Caribbean. He has also served as the Director of Loss Prevention for the Farm Fresh division of Supervalu and Weis Markets where he was the Vice President of Asset Protection and was responsible for Loss Prevention, Safety, Risk Management, Insurance, Food Safety and Quality Control. Today, Limauro is the Vice President of Asset Protection, Risk and Safety Programs at Alchemy Systems.
Limauro has a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University and a Master of Science degree from the University of New Haven. He currently sits on the board of directors for the Loss Prevention Foundation.
