CONTROLTEK is thrilled to announce its Bright Futures in LP: Summer Scholarship Series. The company is partnering with The Loss Prevention Foundation to select eight LP professionals to receive an LP certification course scholarship. Whether you’re an entry-level professional or an advanced practitioner, this is your chance to elevate your expertise and stand out in the industry.
The goal of the LPF Scholarship Program is to provide LPQ and LPC scholarships to well-deserving loss prevention professionals and new entrants to the retail LP industry. The scholarships fund the cost of course materials related to obtaining certification from the LPF.
The coursework for these LP certifications (LPQualified and LPCertified) is explained in greater detail at Yourlpf.org.

Important things to note:
- Open to any LP professional who has not received a scholarship for the same course in the past three years
- You will have one year to complete the coursework before your course expires (any extension must be approved; if approved, extensions are $125 for an additional three months)
- Upon completion of the course, you will need to pass a proctored exam to become certified (the cost of the exams are: LPQ exam $250/ LPC exam $300) *Check with your employer for reimbursement options.
- Scholarships are non-transferrable.
