A man and woman were caught on video stealing from a Family Dollar store in the Bronx on August 14, and putting the employee who tried to stop them in a chokehold.
Video shows a 23-year-old female worker trying to grab a shopping cart full of stolen items from one of the suspects before they attacked her and placed her in a chokehold. The other half of the pair simultaneously struggled with a security guard at the exit of the store.
Eventually, the shoplifters got away with an unknown amount of items, and have still yet to be captured by police.
