RILA’s Annual Asset Protection Conference Begins

The Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA)’s Retail Asset Protection Conference officially started yesterday at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Fla. The conference for retail asset protection executives will last through Wednesday, April 27.

This is the first time the event has been held in-person since 2019, and attendees seem excited to convene with a fresh perspective on the vital role of asset protection in retail.

Yesterday, April 24, the conference kicked off with exclusive committee and council meetings and workshops, including a workshop with the Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) that provided insight on the LP Certifications (LPQ and LPC), a blueprint for getting through the course material, and more.

Later, everyone gathered on the Coquina Lawn to reconnect with industry friends, network with peers, and enjoy light food and drinks for the Welcome Reception.

Today through Wednesday, there are a variety of keynotes and educational sessions that will touch on the most important issues in retail asset protection. Find the full agenda here.
