Al Vanegas named National Loss Prevention Manager at Compass Group

Al Vanegas has been appointed National Loss Prevention Manager with Charlotte based Compass Group where he will be reunited with Chris McDonald Senior Vice President of Loss Prevention and former Senior Director of Loss Prevention at Dollar General. Al is a former Director of Loss Prevention, Southeast Division at Dollar General and has held leadership roles with Lowe’s where he was the Director of Investigations, Limited Inc. -Structure and Neiman Marcus. Al holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University.

Based in Charlotte NC, Compass Group North America is the leading foodservice management and support services company with $14.5 billion (£9.4 billion) in revenues in 2015. Compass Group USA was recently named one of America’s 500 Best Employers by Forbes, ranking as the highest contract food and business support services company.
